Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of 12Tester, a service run by Svetlin Minkov (Bulgaria). By signing in you accept them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. The service

12Tester helps Android developers find testers for Google Play closed testing. Developers add apps and create batches of testers; testers join, install the app and open it regularly, and earn credits they can spend on testers for their own apps.

12Tester is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google. We do not guarantee that Google will grant production access to any app; Google alone decides that.

2. Your account

You sign in with a Google account and must be at least 16 years old.
One person, one account. Keep your profile information accurate.
You are responsible for activity under your account.
You can delete your account at any time in Profile.

3. Credits

Credits are a virtual unit used only inside 12Tester. They have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for money and cannot be transferred to other users.
Prices in credits (for example the cost of a seat and the reward for a completed test) are shown on the site and may change; changes do not affect batches already created.
Credits for seats that no tester completes are returned when a batch ends. A batch that has not started can be cancelled for a full return of its credits.
We may correct credits that were gained through errors or abuse. Credits are lost when an account is deleted.

4. Rules for testers

Only join tests you intend to complete.
Actually install the app from Google Play with the Google account in your profile, keep it installed during the test, and open it on the days you check in.
Check in honestly. Checking in without using the app is not allowed.
Leaving a test that has started, or not completing it, can cost credits and reputation.

5. Rules for developers

Only add apps you own or are authorised to test, that are set up in a published Google Play closed test with the Google Group you provide as testers.
Apps must comply with the law and with Google Play policies. No malware, no apps that collect data without consent, no deceptive, hateful or sexual content.
Use testers' Google Play accounts only to add them to your test, and for no other purpose.
Fix problems that testers report; apps that remain broken are paused and then rejected.

6. Enforcement

To keep the platform fair we may pause or reject apps, remove users from batches, adjust credits and reputation, and suspend or delete accounts that break these terms, fake activity or harm other users. Where reasonable we will tell you why.

7. Availability and liability

The service is provided free of charge, "as is" and "as available". We work to keep it running and correct, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service, a particular number of testers, or any outcome with Google Play. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses or for losses caused by other users or by apps you install. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

Apps listed here are made by other developers, not by 12Tester. Install them at your own discretion.

8. Your content

You keep all rights to the app information and icons you upload. You allow us to show them on 12Tester for as long as the app is listed.

9. Changes and termination

We may change these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version and important changes will be announced on the website. You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may end the service with reasonable notice.

10. Law and contact

These terms are governed by the law of Bulgaria. Disputes go to the competent courts of Bulgaria, without affecting the mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence. Questions: foxvreu@gmail.com.
